The Paper pulp moulded helmet is made from discarded newspapers that currently circulate the London transport network. The helmets can be produced on a large scale using little energy and can be dispensed in conjunction with the Barclays bicycle hire scheme to help encourage safety among cycle hire users. Each Helmet will cost under £1 to produce, making it much cheaper and more environmentally friendly than anything else on the market.
