Phosphorous is a vital ingredient in artificial fertiliser but it is depleting fast. The Pigeon Tower proposes a system to re-domesticate feral pigeons and put their waste back into the nutrient cycle as an urban and natural fertiliser.
With a vast number of pigeons inhabiting our urban environments the Pigeon Tower sees to utilize this as a resource, collecting their droppings and processing it into fertilizer that can then be sold and at the same time providing a designated habitat for them.
